Walking through stores all over has me realizing that olive is a big colour for this spring. It’s a colour that seems like it would be trendy during the fall but when worn right (light weight material and proper cut) it becomes instantly spring appropriate. Here’s a really chic look that I’m loving right now… from the olive coat with the cool inner print to the chunky black heal this outfit is perfect for this time of the year!

Madrid, Spain you should definitely check out Palacio de Cristal! This majestical landmark was built in 1887 and is mostly made out of glass and metal. It was originally a greenhouse as it is located in Buen Retiro Park, but it is now used to display art for tourism purposes. The palace was designed by architect Ricardo Velázquez Bosco who also had a part in restoring the famous Alhambra and Mezquita landmarks in Southern Spain! Interestingly enough it was modelled after London’s Crystal Palace, which unfortunately was destroyed by fire in 1936. If you love nature, art, history and beautiful architecture this palace is definitely a must see!

I’m not Moroccan but I feel as though the interior design side of me is. I love the intricate details and how rich in colour these tiles are. It’s the perfect backsplash for a natural, simplistic kitchen. I’m also loving the wooden countertops and matching shelves up above. Anything that brings nature in to the home without bringing the icky sticky parts of the wild life with it, is inspirational to me!
Have a lovely day!
I absolutely love this outfit put together by Annabelle Fleur! It’s so simple and yet so stylish. I think it’s a perfect transition outfit from winter to spring. You have your light flower print dress in classic black and white. And to add a little edge to the otherwise girly outfit, the dress is paired with a chain strapped bag and a really cool hybrid between sporty and chic shoes! If your nights get just as chilly as mine you can always pair this outfit with a black leather jacket or a simple overcoat.
What do you think about this outfit? is it something you would wear?
P.S. Now that I’m officially done my final exams I will have more time to blog! I will also be sharing some of my illustrations with you guys soon, so stay tuned!
I use spring as an excuse to dress like it’s fall again, except I try to add in a few spring like pieces, like floral prints and brighter colours. Even then, I mostly just re-wear my favourite outfits from the fall because I love the season that much!
Above are a few outfits for inspirational purposes…are you also guilty of wearing fall clothing during the spring?

~ I hope one day my future home has floor to ceiling windows with character just like these ones, so that I can get as much natural light as possible flowing into my house
Have a lovely evening,
