Home Inspiration #8

I’m not Moroccan but I feel as though the interior design side of me is. I love the intricate details and how rich in colour these tiles are. It’s the perfect backsplash for a natural, simplistic kitchen. I’m also loving the wooden countertops and matching shelves up above. Anything that brings nature in to the home without bringing the icky sticky parts of the wild life with it, is inspirational to me!

Have a lovely day!

Home Inspiration #5

Monochrome is, in my opinion, one of the most classy yet bold colour schemes for a room. I think the secret to doing it right is making sure you minimize the mixture of prints and textures and makings sure there’s lots of “white space” to balance out the dark essence of the furniture. That way, you will have a space filled with your favourite black and white pieces while staying away from compromising the lighting of the room!

Home Inspiration #2

The exposed walls remind me of studio apartments or condos in the historic landmarks of New york City. The modern finishes such as the glass coffee table, varying printed pillows and mismatched side tables create a fresh and precisely unique look. This room is minimalistic without losing character and is a great inspiration for the contemporary individual.
